Our history
We can look back on a lively history. But two things have always remained the same:

1946
Immediately after the war, Martin Krieger begins transporting goods by horse-drawn cart. At that time, wood is hauled from the forest by local farmers and transported to the sawmill. With these beginnings, Martin Krieger lays the foundation for today’s company.
1952
Johann Krieger took over his father’s business and began transporting milk from the surrounding farms to the dairy in Hohenthann. The transports were carried out with a wood gas generator. The company also handled removals, animal transports, and anything else that could fit on the truck.
1970
The first hop transports are carried out (see picture). At this time, Johann Martin Krieger joins the company as the third generation. He carried out the hop transports with the help of his father and mother.
1980
Johann Martin Krieger begins the first transports for BMW in Dingolfing. Transports are carried out at the factory. The “FRITZ” vehicles are only used in the factory and have long been part of our history.
1983
On New Year’s Day, January 1, 1983, Johann Martin Krieger embarks on his first transport to Italy. In doing so, he lays the foundation for a business segment that continues to this day.
2000
Due to the increasing number of trucks, the company yard in Inkofen is renovated and paved. A new washing facility for the trucks is built and is still used today to maintain our trucks.
2003
Johann Christoph Krieger joins the company. He is now the fourth generation to do so.
2014
The company “Spedition Johann Krieger GmbH und Co. KG” is founded, replacing the two individual companies “Spedition Krieger” and “Transporte Johann Krieger e.K.”.
Also in this year, the newly built transshipment hall with administration offices is occupied.
2018
New administration building with social and hygiene facilities for drivers is constructed.
2021
With the commissioning of the storage area in Rottenburg an der Laaber, we now have a storage and logistics area of over 2,000 m² and 5,000 m² of open space.
